Netflix releases trailer for season 2 of ‘Another Life’ watch
Series addresses space exploration and first contact with extraterrestrials.

Netflix has released the trailer and release date for the second season of the original series “Another Life ” . The 10 new episodes land on the streaming platform on October 14, 2021.
Launched in 2019, the science fiction drama series has as its motto the first contact with extraterrestrials and the exploration of deep space. In the future, an enigmatic alien artifact lands on Earth, creates a crystalline tower, and sends a signal to the star Pi Canis Majoris . The star actually exists and is located about 95 light-years from Earth, in the constellation Canis Major.
To investigate the intentions of this potential alien contact, the Salvare, humanity’s most advanced ship with the ability to travel faster than light, is sent to Pi Canis Majoris. Problems begin a month after takeoff, with the crew being awakened from hibernation. So far, much of the series has focused on conflicts and internal problems aboard the spacecraft.
In the second season, the stakes increase and the crew of the ship commanded by Niko Breckinridge – played by actress Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck in the series “ Battlestar Galactica ”) witnesses the annihilation of a planet. “How to negotiate with aliens capable of such brutality?”, She asks the synopsis of the new season.

The series was created by writer and producer Aaron Martin, known for his work on series such as “Degrassi: The Next Generation”, “Slasher” and “The Life of Erica”. In Another Life, Martin seems to have borrowed many ideas from the “Star Trek” series (“Star Trek”, in English).
In addition to Sackhoff, the cast includes Selma Blair, Justin Chatwin, Samuel Anderson, Elizabeth Ludlow, Blu Hunt, AJ Rivera, Alexander Eling, Alex Ozerov, Jake Abel, JayR Tinaco, Lina Renna, Jessica Camacho, Barbara Williams, Parveen Dosanjh , Greg Hovanessian, Chanelle Peloso and Tyler Hoechlin.
