This one was filmed in Yichang (China), on the banks of the Yangtze River.
Unidentified eyewitnesses reported that the footage was of something very large, black and with a long tail, curled up in the water close to shore. Douyin, a Chinese video provider, shared the footage.
According to the Daily Star, a hunchbacked protrusion was visible on the back of a snake-like creature.
Millions of people saw the video, which went viral. While many people have speculated about what it could be, no one has been able to prove it.
Representatives of the local forest sector have not yet responded to the presentation.
