Crystal Skulls: What mysterious power is hidden in them? (Video)
One of the great mysteries of today is some strange crystal skulls that have appeared in different parts of the world at different times. Who made them? And, more importantly, what do they mean?
Strange crystal skulls appeared in different parts of the planet at different times. The best known was the discovery in 1924 by Anna Le Guillén Mitchell-Hedges .
She claimed to find him buried under an altar in a temple in Lubaantun, Belize. The skull was made of a block of clear quartz , similar in size to a small human skull with a separate jaw.
The Mysterious Crystal Skulls
In the early 1970s, the mysterious object was studied by independent restorer Frank Dorland . He estimated it was carved in a basic way, using diamonds and then molded, sanded and polished. According to Dorland, it would be around 12,000 years old.
Years later, the skull was examined at Hewlett-Packard’s Crystal Laboratories and later by Mayan archaeologist Norman Hammond . He noticed that the holes looked like they had been made with metal tools.
Anna’s father, writer FA Mitchell-Hedges , mentioned the skull in the first edition of his autobiography, Danger My Ally. Then he said:
«It is at least 3,600 years old and was used by the Mayan High Priest in esoteric rites. It is said that when he wished for death with the aid of the skull, it invariably happened.
Interestingly, the following successive reprints of the book do not include this passage .
Some paranormal experts claim that crystal skulls can perform various anomalies and “miracles” . Among them, it is causing visions, curing diseases, even causing death.
Anna said that with what she found, she had a vision of the assassination of JF Kennedy . Furthermore, there is a story that suggests that by collecting the 13 skulls that supposedly exist, the world will avoid a catastrophe predicted in the Mayan calendar.

Shamanic authors link crystal skulls with Native American traditions . Others even relate it to Atlantis .
None of these theories have scientific backing, but they continue to appeal to many people around the world. This shows that skulls, pre-Columbian or not, endowed with magical power or not, possess a unique magnetism.
Other skulls discovered are on display at the Smithsonian museum in the United States and another at the British Museum . A fourth skull was found in Paris , being sold by Eugene Boban to Alphonse Pinart. Interestingly, this is the biggest skull of all.
While many think these skulls are nothing more than a modern invention, the mystery behind them remains. And is that science has not been able to determine, really, its true origin.
