Cop Who Reported ‘UFO Death Riddle’ Talking About Being Pursued By A Mysterious Agent Who Silenced Him
Alan Godfrey is a retired police officer with the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police Force in the United Kingdom. While on duty on the morning of November 28, 1980, he was investigating a case of a missing cow herd, from his police car he saw a bright light on the road ahead which he describes as a hovering and spinning object.
M̳i̳s̳s̳i̳n̳ng̳ and a cover-up attempt by the MOD and his superiors impacted Alan’s personal and professional life.
A few months before his encounter with the U̳F̳O̳, Alan was involved in a mysterious case. On the afternoon of June 11, 1980, a corpse was found that was later identified as Zigmund Adamski, who had been missing for 5 days and lived in a village about 30 km away.

Alan was called in to investigate the case. The body was lying on its back on top of a tall pile of coal, dressed by someone else, as the jacket had been tied unevenly, the shirt was missing and the shoes had not been tied properly.
The head of Mr. Adamski had been shaved and had a ring of burn marks. A greenish-yellow viscous substance oozed from a wound in his neck.

Also, there were no trails that could explain how the body got there. It was as if the body had fallen from above.
The two incidents were linked by the media and PC Godfrey became a household name.
During a recent interview with examinerlive.co.uk , he recalled that the case had attracted the attention of senior officials and a mysterious individual he believed to be some sort of government agent.
One day he was called into his chief inspector’s office.
Sitting to one side, Alan told podcast host Danny Robins, a man in civilian clothes who was sitting with a thick briefcase on his knees.
Alan said: “Being myself, I asked him who he was and he just said, ‘All you need to know is that I’m the ministry man. \’”
Whether he was referring to the Ministry of Defense (MoD), another government ministry, or something else entirely, Alan says he doesn’t know.
Alan noticed a sketch he had made of the U̳F̳O̳ as he sat in his police car watching the craft hovering in the mystery man’s file.
He said: “I have been ordered under the Official S̳e̳c̳r̳e̳t̳s Act not to disclose anything to the media … about Adamski or my own encounter.”
Alan said they were later encounters with the ‘ministry’ man he described as an ‘arrogant b******’.
PC Godfrey was having a beer at his local pub when the sinister man reappeared.
“I told him to take a long walk on a short pier, but in a good version of Yorkshire,” Alan said.
Alan later left the West Yorkshire Police and his life began to fall apart.
He said, “It destroyed me. It changed me completely.
“I ended up drinking a bottle of whiskey every day. I was almost an alcoholic. This drove me to despair.
“My marriage is over. I ended up in a friend’s attic room, in the gutter.
“I will always remember that Christmas day. I had no money. I couldn’t even buy my kids Christmas presents…
