Ex-Head of UK MoD UFO Program Believes Extraterrestrial Civilizations Exist
Former head of the Department of Defense’s UFO program, Nick Pope, is convinced that there are advanced extraterrestrial civilizations. According to Pope, who worked for the UK government between 1991 and 1994, there could be friendly, “unfriendly” and “super predatory” species in the wider universe; Earthlings should worry about this life.
Nick Pope doesn’t doubt the existence of extraterrestrials, especially considering that countless UFO sightings have been recorded since the 1950s.
According to former Defense Minister Nick Pope, it is estimated that around 5% of the UFO sightings they dealt with defied explanation and that the Ministry of Defense was unable to get to the bottom of the mystery.
In the opinion of a former official of the Department of Defense’s UFO program, extraterrestrial life is “out of doubt”.
According to Nick Pope, 56, UFO sightings have been “constant” in the UK since the 1950s, with some sightings defying explanation.

On the Differents podcast with Nicky Campbell, the UFO expert discussed the sightings he witnessed while on the show.
When I was at the MoD, my job was to investigate 200 or 300 sightings a year, Pope revealed during the interview.
“Most of them turned out to be misidentifications – meteors, satellites, fireballs, airships, bright stars and planets, lasers and searchlights…all of it. »
“But among all of that, consistently – not just during my time with the program but since the 1950s – there was this kind of hard core of about five percent sightings that we couldn’t explain, that seemed to defy any explanation. »
It is commonly claimed that governments around the world know that extraterrestrials exist but are covering them up. Pope, however, claims that was not the case during his time at the Ministry of Defence.
“Sometimes we had photos, videos that the intelligence community imagery analysts couldn’t unravel or explain, sometimes we had radar data, and we were never at the end of the mystery. Many people say that the Ministry of Defense was and still is involved in a cover-up – this is not true. Our position was: we don’t know.
Recently, the United States House of Representatives passed a bill that will change the way UFO reporting is done. Previously, non-disclosure agreements prohibited the release of information regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, or UAPs, which would now be shared internally through an internal reporting system.
The measure targets current and former military personnel, government civilians and contractors to make the UFO phenomenon more transparent and communication more direct.
The former Department of Defense official has published several books on extraterrestrial life and believes there are many civilizations out there, some of which are far more advanced than humans.
The idea that there’s only one other civilization in the universe would sound crazy to me, Pope said during the podcast.
“There will be less advanced ones, but there will be many civilizations much more advanced than us; some friendly, some hostile, some neutral, some biological, some post-biological – we may be dealing with artificial intelligence, machine intelligence.
Pope insisted that they exist, saying “they are probably there”.
